RP Style Questionnaire

What are your favorite types of characters to play?

I really like eccentric characters. Characters who have quirks or oddities about them that just make them interesting I think are awesome. I also rather like characters who are on a mission for revenge. I dunno why, their dedication makes them rather fun to play. Also, sarcastic characters that just don't give a fuck. If I keep going here I'll wind up naming every single type though...

What are your favorite types of plots or relationships in RP?

Not going to lie, I love just about every plot type. I love romances, enemies, vengeance stories, attacks, slice of life stuff, intense action, and really just about anything. Seriously though, anything.

What's your preferred post length? Preferred thread length?

I personally will on average post about a paragraph or less, though I don't mind if it's shorter or longer than that. Typically I'll try to match whoever I'm rping with, though, as said, I won't usually do more than an paragraph.

Preferred thread length though, I would have to say I don't really have one. It really depends on the specific thread and what's going on. If it's getting to be a chore to reply or the plot is dragging along, then I'd say it's time to end it. If it's fun and just on a roll, then I'm apt to see where it's going.

How often do you post?

Weekly nowadays. I try to more often, but I can typically promise weekly replies.

How long should a writing partner wait before nudging you to respond to a thread?

Roughly I'd suggest two weeks. There are times I lose a thread - usually due to a failure of bookmarking the thread, and if you remind me, I won't mind. Honestly, I'm a pretty forgetful person and I have to write everything down so don't feel bad if I haven't responded, just shoot me a pm and the likely explanation for it is that I forgot. Or lost it.

How do you feel about rapidfire?

Depends. I enjoy certain types of rapidfire, if each post, though short, gives me something to go off of other than awkwardly standing around.

How do you feel about group threads?

My first roleplays were group threads and they'll always have a soft spot in my heart. Usually too, I can keep up with them and not fall behind. The issue is then when I haven't been able to reply for a few days or someone else is inactive, people tend to lose interest and then it loses momentum, and with these things I've found once they lose momentum it's rather tricky to keep them going.

How much pre-planning vs. spontaneity do you like in your plots? Do you prefer to stick to the script or to deal with surprise curveballs?

Either or. Love them both. Lots of pre-planning gives way to some awesome plots, but spontaneity is fun and surprising and exciting. Usually, I'll fall somewhere in the middle, but I love curveballs as much as I love a decently made script.

What's your comfort level regarding graphic scenes w/ violence, drug use, sex, etc? Any limits?

Just gonna say it now, I really don't get out much. Haven't experienced most of the stuff I've roleplayed and often I'll go off of my partners or books or movies or other roleplays to get a general idea of what I need to be writing. That said, I'm pretty much okay with anything, so long as you let me know that something along these lines is going to happen before hand. Usually, I gloss over these things myself, but I have no issues if you prefer to write it out in detail.

What are some RP habits/styles/etc. that you love?

Love timely replies, funny responses, any and all humor at my characters' expenses, when a character shows a lot of in rp development, someone deciding to randomly start a plot with me. I also love it when someone's portrayal of a character makes me love that character, but that really isn't hard to do.

What are some RP habits/styles/etc. that you avoid?

Again, I'm pretty laid back in terms of roleplaying. However, the one thing I really don't like is when people create OOC drama, as, I'm sure many people have said this before, roleplaying is supposed to be fun and that takes away the fun of it.

Is there anything else you'd like your writing partners to know about you?

Seriously though, send me anything! Plotting requests, friendly 'hi's', random PMs, I'm up for it all! I love roleplaying, and there's no better way to do that than starting new threads and new plots and I promise I am not a vampire and will not bite you.

DRARRY: Who tops?

Clearly, and this is completely unbiased, Draco. It needs no further explanation.
